Miss Moss presents KREL Wear in Panama

Two-time Style Wars Champion, also named as Best Local Fashion Designer in Miami New Times (2005 & 2010) is now presenting her DiscGlo Collection here with us. Karelle will be showcasing her designs which blend fashion, dance, music and performance, an experience that has been traveling the world from Miami to New York, Iceland, Berlin, Costa Rica, Los Angeles, San Diego and soon here in Panama.

Karelle Levy is the girl behind KREL Wear, she is a performance artist that met fashion. After discovering a knitting machine at college, she is now unstoppable.  Karelle knits her own garments, using the "toobular" technique in sweaters, dresses, skirts and accessories, which consists of reconfiguring garments using few or no seams in her knitting technique.

Each piece is a completely unique, creative and fun experience. There are no rules for Karelle when it comes  her to designs, they are all one of a kind, interchangeable and convertible pieces, and were made to be worn just the way their owner wants and feels.

We are thrilled to have the opportunity to share KREL Wear with you for this one night, where you can expect more than a typical fashion event. Come and enjoy the artistic party night, and discover the many sides of her designs.

DiscoGlo was Inspired by 24 hour Party People film, club culture and chameleon-like characters “DiscGlo” brings you from night to day with a playful palette of hot neons and nudes.

Characterized by altered states and heightened perceptions, the entire collection is glow-in-the-dark and blacklight-reactive. It's a fun interaction between the guests and the designs itself.

Her DiscGlo performance is particularly exciting given that
Neons are strongly featured on international fashion week catwalks in Spring 2012 collections, so we are presenting a current, 'on-trend' international fashion designer here in Panama.

Among Karelle's list of clients are: Nicki Minaj, Alanis Morrisset, Christina Ricci, Carmen Electra, Pink, Cameron Diaz, and Natasha Lyonne.
Karelle has been feautured in The New York Times, Metro New York, Art Info, Ocean Drive, Women's Wear Daily, Lucky, 944 Magazine, The Miami Herald, Beautiful / Decay and Metro Pop, Bazaar en Español, among other fine publications.

KREL2GO Quickie Couture
You can also come and participate in her 'Quickie Couture' and be instantly dressed and styled by KREL in less than an hour. KREL-2-GO is Fast Fashion created with fabrics design personally by Karelle.

Each unique design is a collaboration between the client and the artist, with all the nuances and preciousness of KREL wear's sought-after hand-knit couture. The entire experience is capture by Polaroid and added to the
KREL-2-GO album a ritual that echoes a sense of "working together" to make something magical and unique.
